Stay Cool & Dry in the Weise Hive Jacket

AA-rated mesh jacket, with a removable breathable and waterproof membrane to deal with changeable conditions

Named after the hexagonal shape of its 3-D mesh panels, the Weise Hive jacket combines maximum venting with a handy removable waterproof membrane, to deal with any occasional summer showers encountered.

Extra-large 3-D mesh panels at the front and rear of the torso, and on each arm, allow maximum airflow when the going gets hot. Their size makes them much more efficient than the zipped vents found on many textile jackets.

The removable waterproof and windproof liner provides backup should the conditions change while out riding. It’s easy to get in and out, allowing you to adapt swiftly on the road.

Rated AA for safety, the Hive has a tough and durable 600D fabric shell and comes with RE ZRO® removable shoulder and elbow armour, and a RE ZRO® back protector as standard.

Perfect for summer riding jackets, RE ZRO® armour is lighter and more flexible than the majority of impact protection products on the market without any compromise on performance. Its unique design also allows for greater breathability, eliminating hot spots in garments. Designed and developed in the UK, RE ZRO® is also the world’s first rapidly biodegradable* impact protection!

Popper-secured adjusters on the forearms and biceps of the jacket prevent billowing, and a trouser connection zip with comfort stretch panel prevents the jacket riding up at the back. Accordion-style stretch panels in key areas allow flexibility.

Two hand-warmer pockets with zipped closure, and two internal pockets, offer plenty of options for carrying essentials. There’s also 3M® reflective detailing for improved visibility at night and on dull rainy days.

The Weise Hive comes in Black, with red highlighting and a subtle logo on the chest and it’s available in sizes S-5XL. Find out more at www.weiseclothing.com

*Biodegrade in landfill estimated at 3-5 years with ‘zero’ residue.

Military Makeover for Weise Scout Jacket

Weise has added a ‘camo’ version of its popular Scout mesh jacket to the line-up for 2024. Originally designed for concealment and blending in, camouflage clothing has evolved into a bold fashion statement, allowing wearers to stand out from the crowd.

With average temperatures rising, and the hottest days predicted to get even hotter, a good quality mesh riding jacket is becoming essential for British bikers.

Extra-large mesh panels at the front, rear and on each arm deliver maximum airflow, keeping the wearer cool on even the stickiest summer ride.

It’s AA-rated for protection, with tough 600 Denier fabric on shoulders and elbows, plus CE-approved Level 2 shoulder and elbow armour, and a Level 1 back protector included as standard.

Adjustment at the waist, sleeve and cuff helps reduce billowing, while stretch panels at the upper rear torso and elbows give freedom of movement on and off the bike.

Two external and internal pockets offer plenty of room for the essentials and reflective elements feature throughout, for increased visibility in low light.

A connection zip allows attachment to the matching Scout Mesh Jeans. They’re also AA rated, armoured, and have large front and rear mesh panels over thigh and calf to keep the legs cool.

Weise Wave 2.0 waterproof glove now with 1-KP rated knuckle protection

Weise have given their popular waterproof summer gloves a host of upgrades for 2024, making them even more practical for riding in warm but changeable weather conditions. The addition of 1-KP knuckle armour on the Wave 2.0 adds to their appeal for adventure riding, while their flexibility and waterproofing will make them a popular choice with commuters and leisure riders too.

Duchinni Grid Youth Jacket for Young Riders

Rated AA for protection, this stylish waterproof jacket is designed exclusively for junior riders.

Stylish, comfy, weatherproof – and made to the same high safety standards as adult motorcycle clothing – the Duchinni Youth Grid Textile Jacket puts younger motorcycle passengers in pole position.

There’s no minimum legal age for children to ride as pillions in the UK, although they must meet certain safety requirements. They need to wear a properly fitting helmet, be able to sit securely on the motorcycle seat with their feet on the footrests and hold on firmly.

Responsible parents will also want them to wear quality protective gear and Duchinni has responded to this with a range of clothing and boots designed exclusively for 6-15 year olds.

AA-rated for peace of mind

Made to the same exacting standards as adult motorcycle clothing, the Grid is tested and approved to the AA rating for safety.

The outer shell is a tough and durable 600D fabric, and it comes with CE Level 2 shoulder and elbow armour and a Level 1 back-protector as standard.

Grows with the wearer

A welcome feature for budget-conscious parents, the Grid has zipped 3cm sleeve extension panels, as well as adjustment at the waist and cuffs, to accommodate growth spurts.

Weatherproofing built-in

Speaking of comfort, there’s a 75gsm quilted thermal liner and the fleece-lined and Neoprene® trimmed collar adds an extra element of luxury. A waterproof and breathable membrane keeps rain out but still allows the body to breathe naturally.

Retailing for £99.99, the Duchinni Youth Grid comes in children’s sizes XS-XL, in a choice of Black/Gun, Back/Neon Yellow and Black/Red. All colour options come with reflective detailing for added safety and removable embroidered logo/flag badges, so the wearer can customise their look. Find further information at duchinni.com

New Weise Axel Softshell Jacket

Softshell urban riding jacket blends comfort, style, and CE-certified protection.

Created for commuting and urban rides, the new Weise Axel mixes softshell comfort and casual street style with CE-certified impact and abrasion protection, and full weatherproofing too.

Softshell comfort and CE-protection

The Axel’s tough and stretchy 600D softshell outer brings the best of both worlds: A-rated protection plus flexibility, freedom of movement and comfort on and off the bike.

CE Level 2-approved shoulder and elbow armour and a Level-1 back protector come fitted as standard. All five pieces are removable, so the Axel can be washed.

There’s also a connection zip, with a comfort stretch panel for attachment to riding trousers, which helps stop the jacket riding up, keeping the wearer well covered.

Weatherproofing on and off the bike

A fixed waterproof, windproof and breathable lining keeps out wind and rain, while allowing perspiration to escape. The high-quality YKK main entry zip is covered by a full-length storm flap. Warmth is provided by a snug 75gsm quilted thermal lining.

A detachable hood – with fleece lining – keeps the head warm and dry when off the bike. It adjusts with a drawstring and secures to the back of the Axel with a popper, so it won’t flap around whilst riding. It can also be zipped off completely, should the wearer prefer.

Practical features

An elasticated waist and cuffs keep out cold draughts and mean there’s no fiddling with adjusters, poppers, or straps to get a snug fit.

Two zipped hand-warmer pockets offer welcome relief for chilly fingers. There’s also a Napoleon pocket and two internal pockets – one designed for a smartphone – for the daily essentials.

Reflective detailing keeps the wearer visible in low light but is subtle enough, so it won’t stand out on the street or in the coffee shop.

The Weise Axel Jacket comes in sizes S-5XL in cool Blue or Green shades, and retails at £179.99 including VAT.

Like all Weise clothing, it’s covered by a two-year warranty for complete peace of mind. Find it on the Weise Clothing website at www.weiseclothing.com

Updated Weise Outlast® Winter Gloves

Weise Outlast® Sirius 2.0 Gloves now with KP1 knuckle protection

Beat winter hands-down with new and improved Weise Outlast® Sirius 2.0 Gloves, which now feature KP1 rated knuckle protection and space-age temperature regulation, for the ultimate in cold weather comfort.

CE I-KP Certified Protection

Made with a full grain leather and textile shell, Outlast® Sirius 2.0 Gloves have KP-1 rated knuckle protection and also come with a practical visor wipe and touchscreen compatibility.

Outlast® Climate Control

Inside, the Outlast® lining provides built-in climate control. This space-age material, originally developed for NASA, absorbs, stores and releases heat to actively regulate the body’s microclimate.

As the wearer’s hands warm up, the Outlast® lining absorbs the heat, keeping them cool and reducing the risk of perspiration. If the temperature drops, the heat is released to keep the hands warm.

This active control helps to reduce the heat-up/chill down cycle often experienced when riding in varying temperatures and conditions, keeping the wearer consistently comfortable.

mcTex™ and 3M™ Thinsulate

A mcTex™ waterproof and breathable membrane keeps out wind and rain, while allowing any perspiration to escape.

Additional insulation is provided by 3M™ Thinsulate G100 to the back of hand, and C40 at the palm.

mcFit™ Technology

The linings, membrane and outer shell are held firmly in place with the proven mcFit™ system, so there’s no uncomfortable stitching or seams and the liners won’t twist or pull free.

Weise Outlast® Sirius 2.0 come in men’s sizes S – 4XL and women’s XS – XL. Like all Weise clothing, they’re covered by a two-year warranty.
